My son and daughter have spent the last two years at cubby, which has grown to be an extension of our home. I love that Cubby spans all ages so that my two children can play together all day. We know all the other children by name and the educators, it really is like a small family. I feel happy knowing my kids are safe and that they are forming strong friendships with the other children around them. Walking into Cubby the children are always happy and the educators know what songs and games the children love. Before cubby my son went to two different childcarers in Canberra, he was struggling with his speech, toileting and severe separation anxiety. In desperation, we decided to look for a small centre and found Cubby. My son has blossomed over the last 2 years and no longer has any of these issues. I can’t thank cubby enough for the love, patience and care they have shown our family.

After trying a couple of child care centres, I enrolled my son to Cubby house, and couldn't have been more satisfied. The love, care and attention he gets is simply outstanding.
He has settled quite well and enjoys being there. The staff is supportive and very understanding.

“As soon as we walked into Cubby and met Ana we knew Cubby was the place for our little girl. Ana warmly welcomed us into Cubby which is a converted house so the whole first experience made us feel like we were dropping our girl off for a safe and special play-date.
We are first-time parents and our daughter is our only child so putting her into care was a hugely emotional decision. But, Cubby’s relaxed atmosphere and genuinely caring staff made our girl’s transition, such an easy and seamless process.
We love that she has the enriching experience of interacting with children of all ages at Cubby, rather than being separated into one room with only kids her age.
The dedicated and hardworking team of Cubby educators take the time to write and send detailed journals on what all the kids are up to which is so comforting and appreciated.
Our daughter’s days at Cubby are always filled with creative crafts, adventurous play in the big shaded backyard and the kids are often encouraged to engage in interesting topics and activities based on what is happening in the world.
Our girl is always excited to be dropped off at Cubby, is very happy at pickup, but often quite sad to leave at the end of the day!
